You didn't get into this to
run staffing cycles
So we run them for you. Tunga connects growing companies with digital talent. From Africa. Matched, vetted, onboarded, and supported. You manage the work. We handle the rest.
The challenge
The part of building a company nobody talks about
You started a company to build something. Not to run staffing cycles.
But growth brings roles that need filling. And filling them is just the start. After that comes onboarding. Then making sure the person actually performs. Then dealing with it when they don't. And when someone leaves, you start over.
Important work. Consuming work. And in markets like the Netherlands, often not even economically viable for every role you need.
It's not a crisis. It's just one of those things that consistently costs more energy than it gives. Your head has moved on three steps. You're still organising step one.

The offer
Tunga is a talent partner.
We deliver digital talent from Africa: software engineers, AI operators, product managers, and other digital roles.
We match, vet, and onboard people for your team. Then we stay involved. Performance guidance when needed. Cultural bridging to close the distance. Administrative support, troubleshooting, and replacement if things don't work out.
You get capacity without the overhead that normally comes with it. And when you're ready to move, it goes fast.

What it looks like in practice
You tell us what you need.
A role, a skill set, a situation. We search our pool of 3,000+ vetted professionals across 20 African countries. Within days, not months, you have a shortlist of people who fit.

Someone joins your team.
We handle onboarding, payments, and administration. Your new team member gets the context they need to get started. The operational side is taken care of.

It keeps working.
Tunga stays involved after placement. We check in on performance, help navigate cultural differences, handle the paperwork, and step in if something isn't working. If a match doesn't hold, we replace.

Why it works
10+ years of making this work
Africa has one of the world's youngest, fastest-growing talent pools for digital work. English-speaking, strong timezone overlap with Europe, and increasingly experienced in international team environments.
But access to talent is not the same as making collaboration work. What makes it work is knowing how to bridge the distance. Cultural awareness. Clear communication structures. A support layer that stays present long after the first introduction.
Tunga was founded in 2015 on the belief that economic opportunity should flow toward talent, wherever it exists. In 10+ years, we've built the operational knowledge to make international matches stick: 3,000+ vetted professionals across 20 countries, 250+ client companies served, and an in-house Academy that continuously develops talent to stay ahead.
For clients, this means something specific: roles that wouldn't be economically viable to fill locally become viable. Not because the talent is cheap, but because the model works.

Client stories
Companies that moved forward
Real outcomes from companies that stopped letting staffing be a bottleneck.

Provolve & Amos: 6 Years of Scalable Cloud Development
In 2017, Provolve IT needed to modernise their legacy on-premise software into a cloud-native solution but could not afford Dutch developer rates. Tunga connected them with Amos from Uganda, who became their lead developer for 6 continuous years.

A Partnership Based on Flexibility and Scalability
Broekhuis needed to merge internal and customer-facing software teams with flexible developer access — scaling from 1 to 5 at peak and back down — without the burden of traditional hiring and layoffs.

rb2 & Tunga: A Partnership Built on Shared Values and Goals
rb2 wanted to diversify their developer pool beyond China, overcoming language and time zone barriers. Tunga established an African development centre that grew from 3 developers to 17 and evolved into a joint venture.
