Oct 2024 — Present<ul><li>Designed and built Digitpay’s<strong> frontend and backend infrastructure</strong>, focusing on scalability and security, as well as crypto-to- fiat banking system integration which enabled onboarding thousands of users.</li><li>Worked with the co-founders on the <strong>pivot of DigitSave into Digitpay to solve critical market challenge</strong>s and improve the user flow for cryptocurrency spending.</li><li>Developed <strong>secure APIs for crypto-to-fiat transactions</strong> with Node.js, Typescript, AWS, and an event-driven architecture, <strong>powering more than $200,000 in on-chain and off-ramp transactions.</strong></li><li>Conducted Agile planning for the MVP, cross-functional team collaboration in task assignment via Trello, and setting achievable milestones for progress which accelerated the MVP launch ahead of schedule.</li><li>Collaborated with designers to optimize UI/UX, streamlining the onboarding and transaction flow, which reduced drop-off rates and improved user engagement</li><li>Drafted the technical and architectural documents, ensuring scalability, sustainability, and team alignment with established design and SOLID principles.</li><li>Contributed to Digitpay’s acceptance into the Lisk/AyaHQ Incubator Program,<strong> securing over $30,000 </strong>in funding and recognition for innovation.</li><li>Oversaw the architectural redesign of Digitpay’s backend infrastructure, scaling the platform from supporting payments in Nigeria to enabling multi-country transactions across Africa, ensuring regulatory compliance, high availability, and seamless cross-border user experience.</li><li>Leveraged AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor and ChatGPT to accelerate development, streamline debugging, and improve code quality, enabling faster delivery of core features including Digitpay’s <strong>crypto-to-fiat and cross-border payment infrastructure across Africa</strong>.</li></ul>
