For our marketing department, we are looking for a communicative and results-oriented Communication Officer (remote-first, full-time).
What will be your job?
As Communication Officer at Tunga, you will spearhead our content marketing efforts, setting the vision and strategy to amplify our brand, grow our client base, and strengthen our mission of creating meaningful opportunities for African developers. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about social impact, has a knack for storytelling, and thrives at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and execution.
What will you be doing?
– Strengthen Tunga’s brand positioning to resonate with clients, developers, and partners globally.
– Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to attract global tech clients and top African talent. This will include creating content for our website, newsletters, thought leadership articles, and social media.
– Develop and manage communication with our community of software developers through Slack groups, email campaigns, and virtual community events.
– Create and oversee content highlighting the journeys of developers and the success stories of clients.
– Lead thought leadership efforts, positioning Tunga in discussions about remote work, impact sourcing, and global talent.
– Monitor, measure, and report on content marketing effectiveness, using data to refine strategies.
– Advocate for African tech talent by ensuring marketing efforts break down barriers for developers.
– Create content to drive the engagement of our developers with Tunga and effectively communicate Tunga policy within its online community.
